how do i check the availability of a garment?
on our website each garment has a calendar where full availability is viewable. If the date of your event is unable to be clicked on it, then it is unavailable. If you can click on your desired date then it's 100% available.
when i book a rental, what date do I select?
select the date you'll be wearing the garment and it will be with you 1-2 days prior to the event as long as there are no delays.
i am a local gal from new plymouth, can i pick up my rental instead of having it posted?
yes! we are located in new plymouth, taranaki and offer a pick up service for our new plymouth based customers. at checkout select "pick up/drop off" as your shipping option and you will be contacted via text a few days before your wearing date with pick up info.
when do i post my rental back?
all rentals need to be posted back the next working day after your event - most cases this is monday. all you have to do is hand your rental, in the prepaid postage bag provided, over the counter at your local nz post shop so the tracking is activated. all rentals are provided with a return card which has instructions on how to return the rental.
can i rent an item for an event/holiday overseas?
yes! extended rentals are available for a fee, which all depends on the length of time that you'll be requiring the garment. for more information on this, either flick us an email or a message on insta!
when is the latest i can place an order for the upcoming weekend?
the postal cut off for weekend rentals is 3pm on wednesday. if your rental does not arrive on time you will not be eligible for a refund as the garment was posted prior to the event with 1-2 days to spare.
do i wash the garment before posting it back to you?
no. we do all the washing. please do not at all try to clean a garment, this will more likely do more damage than good. if a garment comes back and needs to be dry cleaned, you willed to cover the costs.
what happens if i damage the garment?
if you damage a garment, you will pay for all repairs. if the garment cannot be repaired, too will be liable for the price paid for the garment.
If i book a rental and change my mind, can i get a refund?
no. we can offer you a store credit equal to the amount paid. if you are wanting to swap your chosen garment for another item in our collection that's fine, just let us know what you'd like to swap to and we can sort this out.
when will my rental arrive?
all rentals booked for friday/saturday are posted on either tuesday or wednesday depending on whether the garment was rented the weekend prior and requires dry cleaning. all garments are posted with overnight courier. for mid-week rentals things are a little different as the turn around time is shorter, but we still aim to get your rental to you at least one day before your event.
what if my rental doesn't fit or i don't end up wearing it?
we do not offer refunds if the garment you have rented does not fit/ you do not like it on you. this is the risk you take when hiring a garment. if for some reason you are unable to attend your event/do not end up wearing your rental, we do not offer refunds.
